I am looking for an enthusiastic, innovative Microsoft Security Engineer who can design and develop cybersecurity tools and technology along with integrating new architectural features into existing infrastructures while maintaining the integrity and security of enterprise-wide systems and networks. Serve as technical Lead to help facilitate and drive the successful design, development, and implementation of key application security projects for the Information Security Data Protection group.

Qualifications (Must Haves):
Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, MS Purview, Encryption
MS Exchange Online, Email Message Encryption using MS Purview / RMS
Should be able to Analyze, design, and develop data loss prevention policies
Technically versatile and savvy, with experience in multiple technologies and/or the ability to pick up new technologies.
Excellent analytical skills
In-depth understanding of information security and software development
Practical experience with security and authorization principles
Nice to Haves:
Application Security
Experience with Active Directory (AD) and ADFS
Experience with PowerShell and Shell Scripting for automating repeatable tasks and installations
Knowledge of server operations and maintenance
Understanding of cloud terminology, architecture, and tools to include installing, provisioning, and monitoring
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Design and develop data loss prevention policies
Designing, developing, and implementing solutions around encrypting email messages, data encryption, etc.
Investigate issues, alerts, etc., resolve
Collaborate with application architects to understand their goals, objectives, and pain points and devise strong solutions to address them securely, effectively, and efficiently.
Collaborate with Information Security Architecture, Infrastructure and Technology Risk organizations to recommend strong solutions.
Be able to articulate solutions and designs in terms the business can understand.
Developing and using common development Frameworks and Patterns.
Promoting and leveraging general re-usability and the use of common services.
Gathering competitive and industry intelligence/research relevant to specific technology areas
Ensure the creation and deployment of sound solution designs and minimize the company’s overall technical debt by making informed, deliberate, and pragmatic decisions concerning the various factors involved.
